Hmm... I love theburg.tv and all but this episode seemed a little less thought out than the others... previous episodes included a lot of off-the-cuff, totally outragious (and hilarious) philosopies that kind of justified each characters' actions... in this one, the timing of things seemed forced... awkward pauses and shots less directed are the characteristics i loved about previous episodes... dont get me wrong, i'll probably watch this one again, it just wasnt as quality an experience as i had with the others...
Love from Harlem,
Jim

I was glad to see more about Courtney and Ryan, but not as enjoyable as the last couple of episodes. The objectified/objective lines were funny!

when did ryan get dumb enough to be fooled by xander?

"'in love?' what are you? a shakespeare play?" was hilarious though!

Always good to see a Courtney centered episode! And I loved the Say Anything tribute. London Bridge is clearly just as romantic as In Your Eyes, LOL.

not as funny as the other episodes, but I think Kelli Giddish rocks so it was still enjoyable.

Can't wait for the next one.

Great episode, once again. The poems all over the food in the fridge was great, and before that when Jed goes over to Spring's place and sits on her bed...there was a farty sweak from the bed (it was left unnoticed, but I thought it was on purpose.) THE MOM WAS REALLY BAD!!!! she overacted everything...she really blew the ending of this episode. Other than the mother, I enjoyed the clever games at play. Nice work.

Here's a question: in what episode is Xander going to come out of the closet?

The Say Anything reference with an iPod SoundDock instead of a boombox was hillarious. Is Fergie the new Peter Gabriel?

Can't put my finger on why, but Jed and Spring dating makes me a little uncomfortable. And I always think of Spring as Summer. Whatever, good episode. I enjoy how Xander's becomes more evil as his fauxhawk acquires more product.

I've really enjoyed all the Burg episodes up to this point but this one was a real letdown. What has made the show so funny is the freshness of it, the witty dialogue, and the biting satire of hipster culture. But this episode was totally lame. How sitcom cliche can you get -- a jealous guy sabotaging a relationship? There's a fine line between spoofing something and just copying it. I also agree with another post, it was totally fake that Ryan would ever believe Xander. Not that Burg is striving for realism but if you want something totally fake then that's a different type of show then the Burg has been so far. Also, Xander sometimes is very funny but his acting in this episode was pretty bad.

I just don't have much to say these days, but so it goes. Today was a total loss. I guess it doesn't bother me.

I forgot all about this one - solid - but I didn't like the camera in camera shots. But it still rocks!

I loved this episode, I love em all, but I just love seeing Xander being such a self-serving dick! I felt that was a bit missing after the pilot, but I loved it here! I'd love to see Singl'd!!!
