CAST

Our regular cast includes: Bob McClure (Jed), Lindsey Broad (Spring), Kelli Giddish (Courtney), Jeff Skowron (Ryan), and Matt Yeager (Xander), joined now by the inimitable Maria Hurdle as Maia.

Guest appearances for this episode include the Chris O’Connor as Early; comic genius Joe Randazzo as Stanislav; Culley Johnson as The Chain Guy (remember him from Hip or Dangerous? I do); J.J. Shebesta as The Hood Guy; Julia Wiedeman in a tour de force performance as Beatrice; and a cameo by the amazing Humphrey as her ill-fated dog.

Also, in the party scene, watch for a few special appearances: Richard Watson (who played Scoutmaster Longenbach in Training), Julia Kent (who played the Barista in Fair Trade), and Wired reporter Jeff Howe, who recently wrote a very nice article about the day we shot the ending party scene.

HOOD (wow, that’s the ep title too… meta)

HOOD was shot entirely in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The boys’ apartment is Shawn’s apartment, as usual. Jed’s new apartment is our friend Paul Lucas’s old place in Long Island City.

Check out his art gallery / party space, Metro Collision (at www.metrocolorcollision.com) Jed, Spring and Courtney sat outside Atlas Café on Havemeyer and Grand, as usual. Early’s tent is down by the river, appropriately. And watch for a special secret glimpse of Kelli’s apartment, pulling double duty as a bistro.
