I tried not to laugh but that really was funny. Loved the slow lazy drawl of the joke.

don't like being a hater, I LOVE the burg, and it's prolific'ness, but the shorts just don't do it for me anymore.

the shorts can be better, i think we agree, a little more pointed, let's say, if that were the case, then the shorts would be worth watching again and again.

I don't think we all agree R5. I can watch a blind man fall again and again. That's pure comedy.

I must say I didn't like the Embarressed episode, it seemed very pointless. But this one was funny. It just shows Xander's rediculousness, and yes, a blind man falling is pure comedy.

Sarah V: Jed so shouldn't have said '... OF WALKING'. It's implied... spelling it out would have detracted from the prose - brobdingnagian style. The burg is getting better and better - this is easily the best short so far... the humor is becoming less actorial, and is now accented with the kind of darkness that lies behind stuff like Curb... and british stuff like Black Books, Father Ted and even bits of Chris Morris. Street drugs anyone?

What is funny? i gave it a shot after watching that horrible waste of time "project episode," where it did nothing but offend me as an African American woman... but I thought (why not??) but now I know. I'd rather be filing actually, so that's what I'll do. Seriously, no standards!

lillian, I'd be interested to hear what you found insulting in 'project'. I don't think the piss was being taken out of black culture, i watched it thinking that the target was the media's portrayal of black culture. If i'm wrong, then it was just plain racist - i really don't think i'm wrong. I know that the culture is different out there in the US (from England), but i think you'd have to look long and hard to find a group of creative, funny, internet liberals that are also dumb f**k racists - the episode was done with tongues fully in cheeks at the media and 'hip' culture, not at black people.

O.K. You got me. Matt Yeager can write comedy... really good comedy.
Big apology for slamming him on the "Embarrassed" comments page.
Also, the vintage ditty worked like a dream.... Stylish kudos to you all.
