R2 have you heard of the real world where people strive to make a living? Don't be naive.

The herpes thing had me laughing out loud. Very funny guys. Can't wait for more.

Oh and to whoever hates the ADs... just don't click on them and there isn't a problem. I don't care for them, but if it helps The Burg keep making new episodes I am all for them. =)

the thing i love about this show is how real it is and how much it resonates with the people i see in real life. But this Secret thing, with the mystery, and the Early voiceovers at the end are just ruining it for me. I hope I'm not being too whiny, but if this show has jumped the shark, ill be really sad.

It seems that these days people use the term "jumping the shark" way too much, about too many things, and often incorrectly.

This is a brand new show, still trying out different ideas, styles and conventions while maintaining the integrity of what we all loved about it in the first place. So they experiment. So what? The Burg has already gained widespread attention and praise and the creators/writers are secure enough to experiment now and then, it seems. This should be admired.

As far as the Motorola sponsorship, I think it's fantastic that this gem of a show, born just over a year ago, has been able to so quickly attract the attention of a major brand willing to offer money. This keeps the show going and growing. This is a good thing.

At first I thought the ad was a joke. If it had been done a little better, it would have fit right in.

I liked the Early stuff, especially the "previously:" thing at the beginning.
The change to such short shows kind of bothers me though, why can't you just produce more content in less time without loss of quality? Seems the reasonable way to do it.

why, yes, of course they can produce more content for less money and no loss of quality! thank you, anonymous! you have solved the mystery of production. you should come work in Hollywood! You're hired!

Thank you, MGM! And to Anon #8, it's not a permanent change to short shows. These mini-episodes are just a sweet little something to tide us over until season two can begin. I'm thrilled to get some new stuff while we wait, as opposed to nothing.

You guys don't get it. All of this stuff that we don't like is done in irony. So you know, it's funny. Because it's ironic.

The benefit of producing for the internet is the ability to try out new ideas. I love the new narrative styles they've been exploring, but the foundation is in the fun characters which I will keep coming back to as long as you keep producing. I don't mind the embedded ads at all either. You do it creatively enough, and hopefully it provides a steady cashflow to keep you making work. Love it! Keep it up!

Have you guys seen this show: http://clarkandmichael.com/

I agree that I didn't expect them to shill for Motorola, but as long as it isn't too obvious, and just keeps in the background, I guess it's cool.

Nice going you tits. The only comedy in this show is your product placement ads. Williamsburg is dying, and you're sweeping it along. Clearchannel changed our park, Subway sandwiches ate our restaurants, and you're laughing all the way to the bank selling the youth who moved here for artistic freedom cell phones! Fuck you and your need to bleed us!

I'm delighted that r19 is exactly the kind of "bohemian", hyper-sensitive, angry "artist" that the show makes fun of. Thanks r19!

As far as I'm concerned, Motorola has good taste for a corporation. I don't have a problem with sponsorship if it keeps the Burg episodes crankin' out. I watch for the actors who are all excellent. They have a really good chemistry, depsite their differences. I Iike the way it's written, produced and directed. Its better than most television. Keep up the great work you guys!
