Project was produced by Kathleen Grace, written and directed by Thom Woodley.
MUSIC
The band for this episode was the fantastic, spastic Project Jenny, Project Jan (www.projectjennyprojectjan.com and/or www.myspace.com/projectjennyprojectjan), a Brooklyn-based two-man outfit we’d call genius-dance, myspace would call electronica-experimental-indie, they’d call electro-karaoke, Billboard music would call an “unrepentant upbeat party”. Featuring Sammy Rubin (programmer / keyboardist) and Jeremy Haines (vocalist). PYPJ self-released their first EP August 2005 and it rocks your socks off. Their live show complete with projection is capable of suddenly transforming a two a.m. three-person hangout into a fifty-person dance party.
CAST
Our regular cast includes: Bob McClure (Jed), Jeff Skowron (Ryan), Kelli Giddish (Courtney), Lindsey Broad (Spring), and Matt Yeager (Xander).
Guest appearances for this episode include: Chris O’Connor (Early) and Tyler `Ty’ Robinson (Crooklyn). Also, a number of our great and beautiful friends appear as denizens of the sports bar: Burg staffers Katie La Greca and Shawn Dempewolff-Barrett, as well as Nick Leavens, Terry Withers (Moustache Guy cameo), Dominic Roberts, Culley Johnson, Rachel Hunter, Pete Roth, Dave Shor, and Caren Rubenstone.
Ty Robinson is, as you can probably tell by his riffing in Scene 3, a supremely talented young singer. He just cut a studio album – not sure when it’ll `drop’, as they say, but expect it to be `hot’, as they also say. And then we expect you will want to `drop it like it’s hot’, but not actually drop it, merely set it down for a few minutes then come back to listen to it again. We expect great things.
And check out Chris O’Connor as Eli Whitney in History That Happened!

HOOD
Project was shot completely in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The sports bar was The Pub at 312 Grand Street and Havemeyer, which features a stellar 12-8pm happy hour and a nice big screen, perfect for beer-drenched indie film screenings. The Project Outreach scenes were
filmed at Havemeyer Street’s Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, who also run the iconic Giglio Festival (www.giglio-usa.org/Brooklyn_Mt_Carmel.htm). The first bar was Stain on Grand (www.stainbar.com), an arts lounge dedicated to local products and talent, with possibly the best wall art around. The girls’ apartment belongs to Bob McClure (Jed). Project Jenny Project Jan performed at Asterisk (www.myspace.com/asteriskartproject).
CREW
Our Director of Photography was Johnny North. Sound was by Cliff Brett, Clint Higgins and Jeremy Cherson. Our editor was Eric Dow. Thom and Eric also shot a bit.
