i can't appreciate cheese. really. the fighting stuff? the "caring racism"? it all turns my stomach. i thought this was a show about hipsters, but i see now that it's actually a show about post fraternity/sorority collegiate life caked in a saved by the bell/pilot episode of friends mascara...

This episode was by far the best, and my favorite! It was nice to see diversity; I really loved Crooklyn, that kid can sing!! Keep up the good work, hope to see more of Crooklyn.

wow. this show is totally not funny. it is apparently written by someone who has no clue what"hipsters"talk about, how they act in general and was obviously shunned by one and never got over it. my advice- drop the whole angle. it's not enough of a premise to base a whole show on... no matter how many comments your friends leave on here saying otherwise.

I'm fairly new to the "The Burg", and I found this episode to be gut busting funny. HILARIOUS!!!! I also agree, that it was good to see Crooklyn added, he was a nice addition. His chemistry with Spring and Xander was totally natural. I love this show, keep more great episodes coming.

I'm on the fence about this one. Please don't go the way of Vice and start letting your ironic racism become actual racism/classism. I'm not saying this was necessarily the case with this episode, but I thought it was close.

Generally I think The Burg is awesome -- I love watching it on my video iPod on the L Train (seriously, though I try to keep it under wraps as the recursive meta- ness of it all would be way too much), but I just hope that it doesn't become a victim of it's own irony. How ironic would that be?

Looks like you gotta fix the link for the Chinatown Bus song. It's missing the "song" in the file name.

R23 you probably shouldn't admit you're privy to "real hipsters". It makes you come across as trivial.

No, R23 he did that when he called the ruthless critics here The Burg's friends... Where do these people get these funny ideas from anyway? I blame the ailing education system...

And who the heck knows what a "hipster" really talks like anyway... I always thought hipsters were sort of like big-foots or "alien" UFOs... everyone has "seen" one yet no one has ever actually presented credible evidence of their existence... Regardless, it is most certainly a good enough premise for at least 15-20 hours of wonderful episodic, at a minimum... they just have to continue to keep it fresh.

ummm, clearly The Voktardt isn't from new york. or even staten island. or even buffalo for that matter. hipsters are everywhere. i saw one in my lobby just this morning. Shamiikins, on the other hand, is clearly a hipster. claiming to live without judgement while blatently judging everyone who cross their path is a basic hipster quality. get over yourself - this episode was the funniest one yet.

conner, you're a tool. you claim the show sucks and isn't how "real" hipsters think and talk any yet here you are still watching the show after weeks of content... i think we know who the "shunned" one really is.... what are you, amish? oh wait, was that too judgemental? my bad.

This is my first time watching The Burg, and it is quite apparent that you all have no standards. I think that's really sad. It is also clear that the people taking offense to the not so gleaming comments are... hmmm... how should I out this? Linked to the show? Perhaps the animosity you feel is a sign that you're not quite so happy where you are in your llfe at the present moment. Peace

the humans I have met that use the word "PERHAPS" are usually tools that need to be bitten. I'll tell you where I am in my life at the present moment, I am drooling on my big leather chair right now; I know that if I just don't crap on the floor my master is gonna fork over a greenie treat. How easy is that? ARRR-OOOOOOOOO.
Great job, Burg-guys.

I usually try to bite humans that use the word PERHAPS. Let me tell you where I am in my life right now. I'm drooling on my big leather chair and all I have to do is remember not to crap on the carpet and my master will fork over a nice greenie treat tonight. How easy is that? ARR-OOOOOOOO. Out THAT baby! Great job Burg guys! Can you use a Hip retired Greyhound in the cast?

how sad that you made two attempts to sound witty and still failed. i want to say youre stupid, but if you are a dog with special talents, why are you wasting your time trying to get on this show? and thanks for the use of the word "tool." i wasnt aware that people still said that.

This episode was better than "Fair Trade." I liked Crooklyn, you should bring him back for other episodes. Courtney trying to turn Ryan into a hipster was funny.

... Hey... Shawty!
Hilarious episode. I could care less if it's spot on to what a real hipster is or isn't. You're nailing the stereotype on the head and it's making me lawl. Keep it going. The delivery and characters are working! Directing is pretty damn good for this show.

You have brought me to the well of nostalgia and I took a big gulp. Somehow you managed to make me care about the characters and feel embaressed about it at the same time. I really appreciate your talents...and I get some satisfaction from knowing that your show is probably grossly underappreciated. It takes one to know one. Thank you...one love
