Spring protests the new coffee chain; Xander tries to win over his materialistic father; Jed and Early try their hand at the stock market.

Fair Trade was shot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. The Ishmaels was at the amazingly addictive Gimme Coffee on Lorimer. They sell their actually fair trade coffee online at gimmecoffee.com. Ditch Starbucks and drink only their coffee - they are one of the few
coffee companies in the New York area that roast their own beans. Truly delicious.
The putt-putt backyard beer yard belongs to Bushwick Country Club on Grand Street. We’re regulars and love their special members only drinks.www.bushwickcountryclub.com The ‘fancy steak house’ was Smorgas Chef on Stone Street in Lower Manhattan.
Slowlands performed at Union Hall in Park Slope. A great bar complete with bocce ball courts so you can channel your inner old Italian man.

I thought bribing Early with jellybeans was hilarious and Courtney's one-sided conversation with a exhausted and hungry Spring made me LMFAO!!! The rest of the episode wasn't that funny. Maybe it was meant to be a more serious one?

I grew up here and so did my working class family back to 1890. I don't really get the Coors Light reference, we always drank good beer like Heineken and Becks. Since leaving the neighborhood, I've been daydreaming about taking out the corner of N 8th and Berry with a bomb. Pulverize Teddy's for starters and then maime maim? (whatever) as many of you Gen Y bastards as possible. But now I've been watching all these episodes and I think I kind of like you people. #103 was my favorite, it was really touching.

HA! #4 is exactly right. Hipsters and Wall Streeters are essentially the same. They both are completely self absorbed consumers who only care about THEIR lofts, brownstones, or condos. This episode was great because it shows how ridiculous both sets are. Wall Streeters should stay in Manhattan, hipsters should go back to where they came from (ie: middle America/burbs), returning Brooklyn to the hard working immigrant families that made this borough interesting and unique.

Another great ep guys... made me want jelly beans... and pork rinds. Early is pushing ahead as my favorite character - he reminds me of a friend from a few years back. He used to sneak into my house... one night i found him watching (my) TV, wiping slices of (my) roast chicken in a pack of (my) butter before ramming them into his face. Bless Len and all who've sailed in him.

I didn't get why the jellybeans were being shoved into Early's mouth though... and what was with all of the "Arrested Development"-like dialog in this episode? The "you took something I like so now I want something you like" dialog was seemingly cut and pasted from the "Shock and Aww" episode, and the "We have a deal" sound bite was ripped from the famous dock scene in the "Pier Pressure" episode, both from season one. This plus the lack of a single emotionally fulfilling story line is not a good sign for a show that (I can only assume) is attempting to take off in a "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" fashion... and Woodly wrote this episode too, which is odd since his past scripts have worked rather well... But heck, I guess they are all playing around with what works and what doesn't... have to give them some leeway...
